The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (“DOTI”), City and County of Denver (“City”), has issued a Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) for Construction Manager/General Contractor (“CM/GC”) services for the project named above. General Statement of Work:

The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting qualifications from interested firms to provide Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for Phase 3 of ongoing improvements to Ruby Hill Park. The goal of the project is to construct a bike and snow sports facility within Ruby Hill Park, overlooking the Rail Yard bowl. Primary scopes of work include construction of a 3,000 square foot support building, a splashpad/water feature, bicycle playground, skatepark, sport court, picnic areas and shade structures, and landscaped green space.

Proposals are due no later than 11:00 a.m. local time, March 14, 2024and will ONLY be received and accepted through www.bidnetdirect.com/cityandcountyofdenverdoti. Late submissions will not be accepted.

MWBE Participation Goal: 19%

Prequalification:  Each contractor must be prequalified in category 1A Heavy Civil at the $9,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Each contractor must have submitted a prequalification application a minimum of ten (10) calendar days prior to the Proposal due date. Applications must be submitted via B2Gnow. Miscellaneous:

Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, DRMC.

City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 DRMC.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all proposals.
