Denver Animal Shelter Events

Caring for homeless animals is our passion but we couldn’t do it without you. When you support our events, we can continue to provide invaluable programs and services, including emergency and specialty medical care, the purchase of specialty veterinary equipment, free spay/neuter services, foster care, and more, for Denver’s most vulnerable animals. 

Your support of community events helps the nearly 10,000 animals we serve at DAS each year. 

Check out some upcoming events:  

• Tats for Tails, Saturday, June 28, 12 - 6 p.m. Think Tank Tattoo, 172 S. Broadway. Join us for a fun, flash tattoo event benefiting DAS. Roll up your sleeves (or pant leg) for a good cause! For just $200, you can score a sleek, stylish tattoo from a pre-designed flash sheet below. These are just a few of the design options. Tattoos are the size of a fist and limited to arms and legs. All proceeds benefit the Denver Animal Shelter.  Please note, Think Tank is a cash-only shop. 
• Cats on Mats, June - September, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Denver Animal Shelter, 1241 W. Bayaud Ave. Yoga with certified instructor and cuddly kittens roaming about as you pull off the best downward dog ever! 
• Paws & Pints: A Denver Animal Shelter Showcase, Saturday, Sept. 6, 4-7 p.m., at Denver Animals Shelter. Celebrate Oktoberfest with a fun-filled day of brews, barks and behind-the-scenes peeks at how we help animals in need. Learn how you can support our mission and raise a glass to making tails wag!
