Short-term rental outreach

The Department of Excise and Licenses (EXL) provides multiple ways for stakeholders to receive updates, ask questions, or provide input about the city's short-term rental (STR) program. Stakeholders include anyone with an interest in the city's STRs, such as residents, hosts, industry members, and city officials.

STR Bulletin

EXL's short-term rental bulletin provides timely updates about STRs, the licensing program, and changes in policy. Anyone can sign up to receive the bulletin.

Quarterly updates

From the earliest stages of the STR program's development in 2016 through 2023, EXL held regular public meetings and since 2020 began publishing the video recordings on the STR public meetings (formerly STRAC) YouTube channel. Visit Denver's STR public meetings playlist for videos of these meetings.
