Office of Neighborhood Safety

The Office of Neighborhood Safety (ONS), a collaborative effort spearheaded by the Office of Social Equity (OSEI) & Innovation and the Department of Public Safety (DOS).

ONS Mission: To foster neighborhood safety and well-being by providing comprehensive and compassionate support to individuals and families affected by crime, violence or involvement in the justice systems.
ONS Vision: To support a safe and resilient city where community and government work together to help Denver neighborhoods thrive.

Office of Community Violence Solutions

The Office of Community Violence Solutions (OCVS) is a network of federal, state, and local government agencies; local businesses; community-based, grassroots and faith-based organizations; and community resident associations that work in a collaborative manner to address gang violence.

Denver Juvenile Services Center

The Denver Juvenile Services Center (DJSC) provides a central point of intake for at-risk and justice-involved youth.

Second Judicial District Senate Bill 94

The Colorado Youth Detention Continuum (CYDC), also known as Senate Bill 94, provides structure and funding to local jurisdictions for a continuum of services designed to ensure that youth are supervised and/or incarcerated at a level that is commensurate with their risk to the community.

Denver Anti-Trafficking Alliance Multidisciplinary Team

The DATA MDT provides a holistic and multidisciplinary collaboration to identify and respond to children and youth at risk of or experiencing human trafficking with a Denver connection.

Runaway, Outreach, Notification, and Intervention (RONI) Project

The RONI Project in partnership with the Denver Police Department, will conduct the intake and follow-up processes for runaway reports within the City and County of Denver. The RONI Team will provide services and supports to the youth and their families.

Helping Youth Pursue Excellence (HYPE) Program

The Helping Youth Pursue Excellence (HYPE) Program is a comprehensive vocational training program that gives participants a chance to earn while they learn.

Youth Leadership Team

The Safe City Youth Leadership Team (SCYLT) provides young people with an opportunity to provide their voice, perspective, and solutions to issues impacting youth.
