Hours of Operation

Dependent on staffing, DMV branches will temporarily close for one week, every four weeks, on a rotating basis. Online services and kiosk locations will remain open. View a schedule of all weekly closures.

In person visitors must be checked in by 1:30 p.m. during regular operating hours in order to be served on the same day. Please note that lines may close earlier based on demand.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday:
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Call 3-1-1 (in Denver) or 720-913-1311 (outside Denver) between 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday for DMV support.

The City and County of Denver Motor Vehicle Department cannot accept payments over the phone.
