Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day or longer. Ashland is a Local Level recreation center in the northwest area located at 29th and Zuni St. This facility includes a full size basketball court, weight and cardio equipment, and an arts and crafts room. Aqua Aerobics and Swim Lessons are offered at this center. Members have access to the lap and leisure pools Monday-Saturday.
