Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day or longer. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
Athmar is a Regional Level recreation center located in the southwest area off of Federal Blvd and Florida Ave. This facility includes an indoor lap pool, ceramics studio, an arcade/game room, and other amenities for members. Aqua Aerobics, Water Walking, and Swim Lessons are offered at this center.
