Carla Madison Recreation Center

Carla Madison is a Regional recreation center located on Colfax and Josephine in central Denver. This facility features two indoor pools, an outdoor climbing wall and a rooftop event space and pool party space available to rent. Other site amenities include slack lines, game tables, a climbing boulder, and dog park.

Closure Information

POOL CLOSURE | May 26-27: Leisure and lap pools will be closed for maintenance.

May 25, 2026: All Denver Recreation Centers will be closed for Memorial Day.

Denver Recreation Centers are closed on city-observed holidays. Outdoor pools close during inclement weather when lightning is nearby or temperatures are forecasted to remain below 65 degrees. Emergency closures for unexpected maintenance, power outages, etc. may not be posted online unless they are expected to last for a significant portion of the day. When possible, such service interruptions will be posted here. To verify center schedules and hours of operation, please call the facility directly.
