2025 Self-Defense Program
Program Overview: The Denver Police Department (DPD) will host several self-defense classes in 2025 to promote personal safety and provide participants with practical, non-violent, self-defense techniques. These sessions will be offered to both City and County of Denver (CCD) employees and community members, strengthening both workplace safety and public engagement. Please note that all techniques taught are intended solely for defense, as the DPD advocates for safety and non-violence.

To request a ride along with a Denver Police Officer, please complete the form and return it to the district station in which you wish to ride. You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older, cleared through CCIC/NCIC, and undergo a criminal history background evaluation.
