Vaping

Vaping is a method of inhaling a vaporized aerosol. The aerosol often contains nicotine, a highly addictive drug. It can also contain flavors, heavy metals, like tin and lead, and known carcinogens, such as formaldehyde.

Vaping devices (e-cigarettes, vape pens, pods, tanks, and mods) are battery-powered products designed to heat a liquid into an aerosol that users inhale. The legal age for consumption of vape products is 21 years old.

All vape devices have:

  • Mouthpiece - allows the user to inhale the aerosol
  • Cartridge - stores the e-liquid
  • Atomizer - heats the e-liquid into an aerosol
  • Battery - powers the device
